CHALLENGE
Cougar accident repair centre is an award winning industry leader located in Luton, Bedfordshire. LMXLED were tasked with providing a new LED lighting solution for the large body shop to bring energy costs down and upgrade the lighting. Their current lighting increased costs year on year and poor lighting levels on site caused engineers a loss of both time and efficiency. Part of the client brief was the CRI, where our lighting solution was required to show the true colours of the vehicles whilst they were being worked on and lux levels had to be precise so no shadowing existed whilst they carried out their repairs.
SOLUTION
Our team designed this project with enthusiasm, we utilised our linear high bay lighting range to create an energy efficient solution ensuring luminaires were mounted at the correct height reducing chances of light spill onto unwanted areas and achieving the correct lux levels required by the client. The luminaires are operational for long periods of time, so reliability was a key factor in selecting luminaires. Our client brief was met, and they were extremely happy with the end result and looking forward to the energy savings due to the lighting upgrade.
