CHALLENGE
Stone Atelier, located in London, has been trading for over 20 years, and is one of the premier stone companies in Europe. The founding ethos of the business has always been to deliver quality material & service to clients. Since they strive to maintain this since 1990, they can proudly say that many of their original clients have remained loyal to this day. They can proudly say that they have the largest selection of stone in London. We were approached to supply a lighting scheme for the warehouse and showroom, as well as contemporary offices. The challenge would be to make the areas as high end as the clients that use this company and also to achieve true colour recognition to show the natural beauty of the marble, granite, onyx and quartz.
SOLUTION
If we focus on the factory section, then we opted for our highbay range, to provide uniform light offering a colour temperature to meet the needs of the brief, which was to highlight the beauty of the slabs of stone. Running costs were also a factor and by using the highest lumen per watt chip we achieved the desired effect at a far lower running cost per month. Needless to say the clients were more than happy with the finished article and continue to be the premier stone supplier in the UK.
